Solo Andata – Acatalepsia (2021)
This is the sixth album by Australien ambient group Solo Andata, released after a five year hiatus. The fragility and delicateness of their earlier offerings has made way for more isolated sounds and harsher renderings.
Laibach – Kill ’em all (1987)
Four years after the release of Metallica’s debut album Kill ’em all, Yugoslavian industrial avant-garde group Laibach recorded a re-arranged version of several songs of Metallica’s album. They exchanged the frantic riffs and drumming for slower, steady martial brass and brutal metallic percussion, adding synths, choir and strings to enrich the sound. Laibach translated the lyrics partially into Russian, Serbo-Croatian and Slovene.
